The angel is embroidered straight onto the linen in the colours of the devotional manuscripts our illustrations draw on: soft alabaster, dusty blue and gold. Beneath the figure runs a banner carrying the angel’s name, and a slender olive-leaf border frames the whole face.

Set against warm cream linen the design feels grounded and inviting rather than stark, so it settles into any room without looking out of place — and the name on the banner tells its story without a word of explanation.

The angel is drawn from a traditional calendar that divides the year into seventy-two windows of about five days, each carrying the name of an angel. We worked from several independent published versions of that calendar and used only what they agree on.

Where sources contradict each other, we leave the detail out rather than choose between them. The calendar is fixed and public, so the same birth date always gives the same angel — you can check it, and it will match.

There is nothing to write. Enter a date of birth at checkout and the calendar does the rest: that date decides which of the seventy-two angels is embroidered, and which name runs across the banner.
